SMTP is used to send emails from your Web4 network.
Create an Email Account: The first step is to create an email account on your hosting package (e.g., via cPanel). This account is required for the SMTP configuration of your Web4 network.
Admin Panel Configuration: Access your Web4 network as an administrator and navigate to the SMTP settings under:
Admin Panel -> Settings -> E-mail & SMS Setup -> E-mail Configuration
Edit the Settings: Make the following changes:
Server Type: Choose SMTP
from the dropdown box.
SMTP Host: mail.example.com
(change example.com to your actual domain).
SMTP Username: Enter the email account created in the previous step.
SMTP Password: Enter the password for your email account.
SMTP Port: SMTP server port, most common: 587
for TLS, and 465
for SSL encryption.
SMTP Encryption: Choose the SMTP encryption method.
If your Web4 network is not sending emails after the changes, please test your SMTP credentials at SMTPNET. If the same configuration worked in the test, please contact us.
