Why this is yours to configure: outgoing mail runs through your own SMTP settings, so notifications come from your own domain rather than a shared one.
Step 1 — Create an email account on your hosting package, on the domain you want mail to come from. This is the account the network authenticates as.
Step 2 — Open Admin Panel → Settings → E-mail & SMS Setup → E-mail Configuration.
Step 3 — Fill in the fields:
Server Type — SMTP
SMTP Host — usually mail.yourdomain.com
SMTP Username — the account you just created
SMTP Password — that account's password
SMTP Port — commonly 587 for TLS, 465 for SSL
SMTP Encryption — must match the port you chose
Step 4 — Send a test before you invite anyone, then check the spam folder. New sending domains often land there at first.
If nothing arrives: verify the credentials directly with your email provider, confirm port and encryption match exactly, and check that your provider allows sending "from" that address. Wrong credentials are the most common cause by a wide margin. Reference documentation
