A normal contract ties you to one carrier. VIVON provides global eSIM mobile data access instead, so you are not locked into a single provider's contract in a single country.
A normal carrier can see a lot about you. Your subscriber identity, your location and your communication patterns are all visible at the network level by default. VIVON adds metadata shielding so that layer of tracking does not happen the way it typically would.
Your number is not your identity. Calls and messaging run against your Web4 identity rather than a conventional phone number — you can reach an identity the way you would normally dial a number.
What it does not change: VIVON is a connectivity layer, not a privacy guarantee for everything you do on top of it. What you share inside an application is still what you share.
Current status: Closed beta, being prepared for a Google Play release. Write to [email protected] and mention the VIVON beta if you want in early.
