Should I build my network with ATRIUM or with Web4 Lite?

Choose ATRIUM if you want to launch quickly: ATRIUM builds a social network or "super app" from a single AI prompt, with messaging, content sharing and community features included. Start at web4.community. No hosting or infrastructure work required.

Choose Web4 Lite if you want to run the infrastructure yourself: Web4 Lite is the open-source starter foundation on GitHub. It is intentionally leaner than the full stack, and it assumes you are comfortable self-hosting.

The trade-off: ATRIUM gives you depth and integration across the seven layers without setup. Web4 Lite gives you full control over your own servers in exchange for a smaller feature set and your own operating effort.

Either way, members keep their own UIID. Their identity is not owned by the network they joined.
